Dedicated to John Howe, Porsche guru par extrordinaire. When I bought my first Porsche, a rust bucket 356, John kept it going, and treated a young know nothing with courtesy and respect. Never forgot that. And he had, if I recollect correctly, his 906 sitting by his garage in Sea Cliff, NY. Hope he still has it. Haven't talked to him in thirty plus years. But I wish him the best!
Note: Just found out that he moved out to California a while back and has just retired to play with his motorcycles. Again, my best to him!
